Ground Transportation

The Dayton Airport has the following approved Ground Transportation options available to serve you. From taxis, to shuttles and rental cars, the airport has a broad range of solutions to help you find the right fit for your travel needs.

Check-in desks for each rental car company are conveniently located in the rental car facility adjacent to the Garage. Please contact the individual rental car company for more information or link directly to their web site to make reservations.

Taxi service is available between 7 a.m. and midnight (or 30 minutes past the arrival time of the last flight, whichever is later) 365 days a year. DAY taxis are located next to the valet booth directly in front of the terminal. If you have questions or would like to request a wheelchair accessible vehicle, please call 937-898-1555 or 937-226-9999.

The Dayton International Airport has partnered with Dayton Express Cab Co. to provide an exclusive taxi service which includes a minimum fleet of 20 vehicles, plus 1 wheelchair accessible vehicle upon request. The fleet includes minivans and sedans, all marked with the Dayton International Airport logo and titled Official Taxi Service provided by Dayton Express Cab Co.

Prearranged van and car services may be scheduled to and from the Dayton International Airport, providing services to downtown Dayton, hotels, attractions, businesses, personal residences, shopping destinations, universities, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and other locations throughout the region. Wheelchair accessible vehicles may be reserved. Call for rates, reservations and questions. Due to current circumstances around COVID-19, hours of operation may have changed. Uber and Lyft are Permitted to operate TNC services at DAY. All TNC pick-ups will take place under the TNC Commercial Ground Transportation pick-up Zone signs as marked at the first crosswalk entrance to the Terminal, near the booth.

Passengers with disabilities are a priority to us. We offer the following services to make your travel experience easy to and through.

  • Handicapped parking spaces available in all of our parking structures.
  • Complimentary DAYrider Shuttle buses are temporarily unavailable but when operating are wheelchair accessible.
  • The Terminal entrance curb is handicapped accessible at all points, including the 3 walkway entrances into the Terminal.
  • Rental Cars include a variety of wheelchair accessible vehicles, please make sure to request at the time of your reservation.
  • Taxicab services also provide wheelchair accessible vehicles, please make sure to contact the operator Dayton Express directly for your request.
  • Shuttles for Hotels/Motels are wheelchair accessible.
